irresolute mugen screen size

#1 December 13, 2009, 03:04:19 PM

I know this a noob question but I'k kinda having issues. I kind of don't want my mugen full screen considering information technology makes information technology hard to switch programs just I don't want it and so small either. I know you just demand to alter the width and height in the mugen.cfg only the problem is that the borders just increases while the screen itself doesn't expand. My friend was able to change his only I don't know why mine won't expand. Can you aid me with this one.

I kind of don't desire my mugen full screen because information technology makes it hard to switch programs but I don't want it so small either. My friend was able to alter his but I don't know why mine won't expand. Tin can you lot help me with this one.

;Set this parameter to 0 to disable screen stretching, and set it to 1 if
 ;you desire to scale it upward to fit the electric current resolution.
Stretch = 0

Modify that to 1, and the screen should aggrandize to the width and height you lot chose.

What graphics mode are you using. There's a divergence betwixt hardware and DX and software. These are fix in mugen.cfg and if you didn't DL the original one, may have been set for you.

With a PC like that (amend than mine) you should be completely able to run mugen at full speed. The only things that might be stopping y'all is probably drivers. Check the gfx drivers for your carte. And if there'south an update for the motherboard.

In M.U.G.Due east.Northward there is no magic button

They say a little noesis is a dangerous matter, only it's not one half so bad as a lot of ignorance.

I apply the windowed option. I'm actually confused because if I brand it fullscreen, it runs ok but if I set information technology to windowed with resolution 800x600 it becomes slow

I use the windowed pick. I'm really confused considering if I make it fullscreen, it runs ok just if I gear up it to windowed with resolution 800x600 information technology becomes tiresome

Accept you tried 640x480? It may be smaller, just it should run faster. I ever play windowed mode through this resolution.

Yes, although information technology may be smaller, it volition work faster than 800x600. Like Cyanide said, try checking the GFX drivers on your PC, and install whatever updates it may have available.

try using 960x720 as well as trying overlay mode instead of windowed.
